Daily Prayer during the week is at 8.30am at the Methodist Church, Algitha Rd. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and at St Matthew’s Church of England on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Tuesday 27th.
11.00am Mid-week Prayers in the Vestry.Thursday 29th.
7.00pm Algitha Rd. Church Council, Property & Finance. Friday 30th.
10.00am – 12.00noon. Algitha Road Coffee Morning.Saturday 31st July. Neil and Sue Baxter have had to cancel their Garden Party.
Forthcoming Events.
Sunday August 1st – In a fortnight’s time the preacher at our morning service will be the Rev Mrs Rosemary Wakelin. We are pleased, and honoured, to welcome her to Algitha Road for a fifth time. With her experience on the Mission field in Africa, as a Minister in a Norfolk circuit and as Prison Chaplain at Norwich she is an outstanding preacher, and splendid personality – facts you will be able to check for yourself as you are invited to the service and then to an informal chat with her over a cup of tea/coffee after the service. It may not be a coincidence but her visit to us falls on the birthday of her dear friend Margaret Addey.
Monday 2nd, 2.30pm “Network” at Great Steeping with David Southward.
Wednesday 4th. At Trusthorpe Methodist Church – A Fund Raising Event from 10.00am – 2.00pm
including Tea, Coffee, Light Lunches and Sponsored Hymn Singing.Saturday 7th, 10.00–12.00noon Chapel St Leonards Coffee Morning.
Tuesday 10th, 10.30–11.30am Chapel St Leonards “Fellowship”.
